Chainmaille Ornament #2

Well I have another new ornament to share with you! I enjoy making these so much and I enjoy being able to create awesome stuff like ornaments. This one I colored bronze and placed silver maille over it in attempts to decorate it.

Ladies Koozie(s)

I love inspiration. I had an idea to have a koozie for the ladies. So I took the idea of the corsets lacing and put it to a koozie and to chainmaille.

So I have two koozies. One the base color is pink, the other is purple. Both are embellished with chainmaille, black ribbon, and a teardrop crystal.

Prices vary yet again, anywhere between $10-$15. I had a ton of fun making these and hope that there are many more created soon. Custom orders are gladly welcome and I can and will gladly ship them. Contact me and we can talk about getting your koozie to you!

Chainmaille Ornaments

Well here is another new first. A chainmaille ornament. This one I call "straight lines." I know not very original but you think of a better name, let me know, I'll rename it.

I have a number of colors that I can color these as well as making different designs. I have 10 different colors of maille that I can work with. I'm working on several different designs. So I am very pleased to present my first. I can color the ornament pretty much any color you wish, could even do sparkly and glitter, just let me know which color you wish. So now I present "straight lines" and hope you like it for my first ever attempt at an ornament.

Far away picture of straight lines. I love the almost Tiffany blue coloring.

Close up photo of the chainmaille, its a simple design and a easy hanger as well.

Bottom of the ornament. All small links are silver, and the large ring is stainless steel. A beautiful compliment to any tree or any room!

Prices for these will start anywhere between $3 to $15 depending on the level of detail you wish in your ornament. Custom orders are available.

Chainmaille Koozie

Good day and welcome! Thanks for stopping by my blog! This is the first posting on this blog, and this exciting new chapter. I have been doing chainmaille on and off for nine years now. I really do enjoy it and I have a good time doing it as well. I find it to be a rather calming endeavor as well as interesting to find what you can create.

I set out quite a while ago to make something new that I had yet to see done out of chainmaille. A can koozie. So I set out to get what I need and all I really did was take a solid color koozie and take the silver colored stainless steel and orange anodized aluminum that I had and did a basic 4-in-1 design to wrap around the can koozie itself. It is tacked down on the top and the bottom of the koozie. I had a blast doing this and here is the product of my creation.

A side view of the can and the koozie. I like how the colors contrast.

A close up of the 4-in-1 weave.

The bottom of the koozie showing how it is tacked down.

The top of the koozie, there is plenty of room to drink and even if you have a lip piercing the chainmaille and koozie stay far enough down that you won't have to worry about it getting caught.

If you would like to ask about custom colors, designs or even specifics, please email me. I will gladly answer any questions you have and I can work out awesome deals for shipping and pricing if you are interested in purchasing one.
